Micromax has officially launched the fourth
generation Canvas Doodle series phablet in India.The new Micromax Canvas Doodle
4 sports a mammoth 6.0-inch HD IPS screen with Gorilla Glass 3 shield and run
on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with 1.3GHz quad-core processor (probably
Mediatek), 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory.The company has confirmed that the
new Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 has been made available at retail stores across
India for ₹9,499 in white colour variant.
Canvas Doodle 4 features a 6-inch IPS display with a 540 x 960 pixel
resolution. However, according to the specifications listed on Mahesh Telecom,
the resolution offered is 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz
quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB RAM. The device offers an internal
storage at 8GB but no information has been provided about an expandable storage
slot.The Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 comes equipped with an 8MP autofocus camera
with LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. It also includes light,
gravity, and proximity sensors. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop is
powered by a 3000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the Dual-SIM device
comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS but no 4G support.Similar to the previous
Doodle series smartphones, this one is expected to include a stylus as well,
but there is no confirmation as of now.It comes with Skitch and gives the users
Premium Subscription to Evernote absolutely free. It also has other pre-loaded
apps like App Center, Chaatz, Clean Master, Hotstar, Newshunt, Quikr and
Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 gives the users a
creative platform which enables them to express themselves in a fun and
quirkier way and enhancing their experience.
Canvas Doodle 4 smartphone
provides consumers a talk time of 10 hours and a stand by time of 300 hours. It
provides unlimited connectivity on the go as the phone supports Bluetooth 3.0,
Wi-Fi, USB and more for the social media buffs.
